Table of Contents

In this holy month of Ramadan, we are aspiring to be the better versions of ourselves, both at home and at work. Fasting can be quite difficult, especially with the hot weather. As the festivities approach us and with only a week ahead of us till the holidays, it is time to complete all our duties at work and spend times with the ones we love the most.

Wrapping things up at the workplace

We understand how important it is to get all the reports and accounts in check before leaving for the holidays. With only a week left, it is advisable to create a checklist to make sure you are not forgetting anything. Make sure to note down all the important calls and meetings you have to attend during the week, and do not forget to make sure all your employees have received their salaries and bonuses for the holidays. Take some time to go over your to-do list and make a note of any jobs that need to be accomplished before you go.

Reward for the hardworking ones

Your workers have families at their homes too. While sending them off to holidays, make sure that your workers are not swarmed with work. Both financial and non-financial rewards can be given to workers to make them feel appreciated for all the work they did during this holy month. Employees who are happily able to spend time with their families and enjoy the festivities would have a better chance of being more motivated and efficient in the workplace.

Besides that, make sure the helpers around your house are paid well and are happy during the time of festivities. It is important to thank them for their service and for how they help you.

Staying excited and energized

With the holidays approaching us, we understand the importance of getting everything in check and finishing all that’s left to be done. However, being relaxed and enjoying the work you do is important as well. During the lunch break, chat with your coworkers, walk around the office or read a book to make sure that you are not too stressed. These activities can help you to stay calm and get ready to work again.

Ending the holy month with good health

During the month of Ramadan, exercising increases your metabolism and productivity by 50%, leaving you energized for the rest of the day. Try to eat an ample amount of vegetables and fruits to make sure you are getting all the required nutrition. Furthermore, it is advisable to avoid caffeine since it can make you ill. Also, make sure to drink as much water as possible.

Getting ready for Eid

Once you are done with all the work, it is now time for you to spend time with your family. As mentioned before, keep a checklist to make sure you have bought gifts for all your members. When going for shopping, be informed about the sales and discounts going on in certain shopping malls as this would allow you to save a huge amount of money.

Therefore, in order to successfully end this month and enjoy the Eid peacefully, it is important to priorise tasks and prepare things ahead. In addition to that, understand that it is okay to relax once in a while, so enjoy the Eid that is ahead of you and spend time with the ones you love. Make sure your employees are content with what they receive as bonuses and they get enough number of days as holidays so that they can come back to work feeling energised.
